Jalapeño and Cheddar Pierogi
We created our Jalapeño and Cheddar pierogi to capture a classic cheesy and spicy flavour combination that is so loved in a vegan recipe that is plant-based and dairy-free.
This flavour has been frequently requested by our regulars and, after months of experimenting in our test kitchen, we developed a recipe that is delicious and addictive, and that caters to many diets. These pierogi start with a plant-based cheddar sheeze filling, and adds jalapeño, poblano, and green peppers, and then elevated with salsa, green onion, and spices.
These pierogi are best served pan fried until they have an intensely crispy crust which pairs texturally with the smooth and creamy filling. Try them topped with our Caramelized Onions and shredded Tex Mex cheddar cheese for a flavour explosion.
